Meet our Green Juices

After discovering that over 50% of Americans break their New Year’s Resolutions before January ends, Evolution Fresh founded National Green Juice Day as an annual celebration to encourage people to stick with their health & wellness-related resolutions!

Eating enough greens is just one aspect of a balanced diet – but it is vital. Green foods are a great source of essential nutrients that significantly support a healthy immune system and promote overall health. Most adults need more nutrients from their diets alone, a problem that cold-pressed juice can help supplement.

At Bona Fide, we use a GoodNature hydraulic press to extract juice from raw fruits and vegetables using a cold pressing method that applies pressure rather than heat. Our method minimizes oxidation & helps to preserve the maximum amount of nutrients and enzymes. This is unique from other juicing methods – such as a centrifugal juicer that produces a lot of heat, which is responsible for diminishing the flavor & nutritional value of the juice. Cold-pressed juice is the perfect way to supplement nutrients your diet might be missing, and here’s an introduction to one of our favorite kinds: our green juices!

spinach, kale, cucumber, pineapple, ginger, lemon

Daily Detox is our most popular juice, and for a good reason. Our bodies constantly work to eliminate toxins, but sometimes we accumulate more than we can effectively remove. These toxins can come from various sources, such as the environment, processed foods, and even our metabolism. If left unchecked, these toxins can lead to imbalances and adverse effects on our physical and mental health. Daily Detox got its name from ginger & lemon, natural detoxifiers that promote digestion and help eliminate toxins from the body. Additionally, greens are high in water content and help flush toxins out of the body.

Additionally, Daily Detox is the perfect way to sneak in your daily dose of greens (along with some other nutrients your diet might be lacking). Incorporating a daily dose of greens into your diet is vital for optimal health and well-being. Leafy greens such as spinach & kale are not only low in calories but also filled with essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber. They promote healthy blood flow, support eye health, boost immunity, and provide a sustained energy boost. This is our favorite green juice to recommend starting with. Besides being packed with everything you need daily, it’s super tasty and an excellent place to begin for even the pickiest eaters.

Spinach, cucumber, celery, green apple, lime

Gimme Greens was one of our first juice recipes – and it’s remained a staple of our coolers ever since. It boasts a crisp & sweet apple-based taste with a hint of tanginess, and is a great option for picky juice drinkers to get their greens in. Gimme Greens is one of our favorite recommendations for aiding digestion, promoting healthy skin, and hydrating your body.

spinach, kale, cucumber, green apple, parsley, lemon, ginger

As we age, our skin can start to show signs of aging, such as wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots. One of the leading causes of aging skin is the accumulation of free radicals in the body. Free radicals are molecules in the body that can damage cells and contribute to aging, inflammation, and the development of chronic diseases. Free radicals are formed in the body due to normal metabolic processes. They can also come from external sources such as pollution, UV radiation, and exposure to toxins. When the body has too many free radicals and not enough antioxidants to neutralize them, it can lead to oxidative stress, damaging cells and contributing to aging and other health issues.

Just as its name implies, we’ve put together Forever Young to combat just that – it’s designed to keep you looking & feeling youthful forever! Its ingredients are packed with antioxidants, which can help to neutralize free radicals and protect the body from damage caused by oxidative stress. Forever Young is excellent for helping hydrate & support the appearance of your skin by protecting it from free radical damage and promoting collagen production. Forever Young is one of our favorite recommendations for experienced juice drinkers.

celery, lemon

Celery Juice has been a traditional remedy for centuries to support overall health and well-being. The health benefits of celery juice have been widely recognized in traditional medicine and it has been used to support digestion, skin health, and overall well-being. It has recently gained popularity as a health trend, with many reporting benefits such as improved digestion, clearer skin, and more energy. This is a simple way to support your body’s overall health and well-being. It is considered a natural diuretic, which means it can help flush out excess water and toxins from the body. This can help alleviate constipation, bloating, and other digestive issues. It is even believed to be beneficial for gout because it contains compounds that can help reduce uric acid levels in the body.

We make The Cure by cold-pressing just celery and lemon. Celery has a strong and distinctive taste, and some people find it too strong. We add some lemon juice to help balance the flavors. It’s one of our more tart juices – but highly refreshing and rewarding for the drinker. We really can’t recommend The Cure enough for experienced green juice drinkers!

Skinny Greens

Kale x2, Cucumber, Cilantro, Celery, Spinach x2, Romaine

Leafy greens are considered one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet, and Skinny Greens is packed with them. It’s the most nutritious juice in our coolers, packed with essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants crucial for overall health. Despite being packed with so many essential nutrients, leafy greens are relatively low in calories – hence the name!

Leafy greens are considered an excellent source of certain nutrients compared to other foods, mainly due to the concentration of those nutrients in leafy greens. Leafy greens are considered one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet because they contain a high concentration of essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants per calorie compared to many other foods. The body can absorb and utilize the nutrients from leafy greens easier than those from other foods. For example, the Vitamin K found in leafy greens is highly bioavailable, meaning that it is easily absorbed and utilized by the body.

The abundance of leafy greens (notably the double servings of kale & spinach) set Skinny Greens apart from the rest of the green juices in our cooler. It’s the perfect juice to pair with a tasty lunch; designed to help promotes healthy digestion & keep you feeling fuller for longer. It has a rich earthy flavor, perfect for experienced juice drinkers and those who love their veggies.

Fennel, Spinach, Celery, Cucumber, Apple

Fennel helps set Good & Plenty apart from the rest of our green juices – a unique bulb-like veggie that has a reputation for helping improve health. Fennel is a great source of folate – a necessary nutrient for helping form healthy red blood cells and healthy cell growth. This makes Good & Plenty a great option to improve symptoms of anaemia – and it’s even recommended to include folate in your diet during pregnancy.

Kale, Pineapple, Kiwi, Romaine, Cucumber

Tropikale is one of our favorite recommendations for new green juice drinkers – its combination of exotic fruits and leafy greens give it a really unique (and tasty) flavor. One of our favorite things about Tropikale is that it’s extremely enzyme rich – which are essential for many bodily functions, including digestion and metabolism. They are responsible for breaking down food into smaller molecules that can be easily absorbed by the body. Pineapple and kiwi are both rich in enzymes, particularly bromelain and actinidin, which are known to aid in the digestion of proteins. This means you’re getting a boost of enzymes that can help your body break down the proteins in your food more efficiently, leading to better digestion and nutrient absorption.

Spinach, Fennel, Cucumber, Apple, Ginger

Hormone health is super important. When your hormones are imbalanced, it can lead to an array of symptoms and health issues that can leave you feeling less than your best. These may include fatigue, difficulty sleeping, mood swings & irritability, depression or anxiety, weight gain or difficulty losing weight, headaches or migraines, irregular menstrual cycles, and digestive problems.

Healthy Hormones is one of the newest additions to our juice coolers – specifically formulated to help support hormone balance. Fennel is known to have a positive impact on hormone balance. It contains compounds such as phytoestrogens that mimic the effects of estrogen in the body and can help to balance hormones in women during menopause. In addition, it also contains compounds such as anethole which can help to reduce the symptoms of PMS and support healthy estrogen metabolism. Ginger is also known to have a positive impact on hormone balance. It contains compounds such as gingerol and shogaol, which help to reduce the levels of stress hormones in the body, such as cortisol, which is known to disrupt hormone balance. Moreover, ginger also contains compounds that can help to regulate the menstrual cycle, reduce menstrual pain and cramps, and alleviate symptoms of PMS.

It’s important to remember that drinking the juice alone is not enough to balance hormones. It should be consumed in conjunction with a healthy diet and lifestyle. It’s also worth noting that sometimes hormone imbalances are natural and happen as a person ages or goes through certain stages of life. It’s important to manage symptoms to improve quality of life and prevent any potential health problems that may arise.
